Kogi Utd, Confluence Queens Get New Coaches


The Chairman of the Kogi state-owned clubs, Mallam Abdul Adama have named Mr Fatai Osho and Mr Oluwole Babatunde “Santana” as the chief coaches of Kogi United Football Club and Confluence Queens Football Club respectively.
Coach Osho who was the former head coach of Remo Stars FC will be assisted by Mr Omale Jonathan, a former coach of Hoppers FC in Cotonou, Benin Republic at the Nigeria National League side Kogi United whereas Coach Oluwole, a former Head coach of C.I. Angels, Agbor will be aided by Mr Suleiman Adamu at the Nigeria Women Premier League side Confluence Queens.


Mr Abdul Sule was also appointed as the Technical Adviser of Kogi United Football Club while a former coach trainer at the Nigeria senior Women National team, Super Falcons, Mrs Enwere Charity Nnadinma joins the Confluence Queens Football Club coaching crew as coach trainer.
The appointments were confirmed in a statement signed by Samuel Ahmadu, the spokesman of the Chairman of Kogi United and Confluence Queens FC, Mallam Abdul Adama yesterday.
According to the statement, “the new coaches for Kogi United FC assume office on Thursday, 17th October, 2013 while those for Confluence Queens FC take up their various roles on 1st November, 2013. The appointed coaches are mandated to contact their various team managers”.
The newly constituted coaching crews follow the recent appointments of Mr Henry Ameh and Mr Owolabi David Ayo as Team Managers for Kogi United and Confluence Queens management teams.
Mallam Adama directed the new coaches to recruit the best among the players necessary for the actualization of the dream of management of the teams and wish them good luck in their various assignments.
