Embrace peace---Gov Wada

As Muslim all over the world celebrate Edil-el-Kabir today, the Governor of Kogi state, Captain Idris Ichala Wada has called on Muslims and other religion leaders in the country to embrace peace and pray for the unity and progress of the nation.

Captain Idris Wada in his Sallah message which was issued and signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Mr. Jacob Edi stated that the people of this country have come a long way and therefore should work for peace,unity and development of the country.

He pointed out that the founding father of Nigeria and those who lay their lives for the sake of the country coming together will not be happy if the nation disintegrate stressing that every body must join hand together and make sure that peace and unity did not elude us.

The Governor therefore called on religious leaders both Muslims and Christians to always see one another as brother and sister and preach message that will always bring the people together and improve the economy of the country.
