Kogi Govt promise to support Traditional institution.

The Kogi State Government says it will support the traditional institution in the state to enable it effectively discharge it role of maintaining peace in their domain.
Capt Idris Wada made the promise while in the palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebira land,Alh Ado Ibrahim in his palace at Okene to pay him sallah homage.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy,Yomi Awoniyi,described peace in Central as fundamental and key to the success of the administration's programmes and policy,commended the traditional rulers and other institutions for achieving the feat.


The governor solicited patience from the people of Central District as very soon government intends to roll out several programs that will be beneficial to the people.
The Governor urged the traditional father to settle boundary rift existing between the people of Ogori-Magongo and Okene and Adavi and Okehi.
The Governor commended the inter relationship existing between the people urged them to remain supportive of the present administration in the state.
Responding,Alh Ado Ibrahim described the Sallah visit as first of its kind to his palace,commended the support of the administration in the state to unity and oneness of the people.
The Royal father called for the resuscitation of the Ajaokuta steel company describing it as the key to the industrialization of the country.
The royal father supported the call for a National conference,said it will enable the people discuss on areas that will move the nation forward.
Alh Ado Ibrahim described the Capt Idris Wada as a right thinking administration,assured that the traditional institution will resolve amicably all issues of boundary dispute in the area.
At the palace of the Maigari of Lokoja,Alh Kabiru Mohammed, the State Governor lauded the role of the Traditional ruler in his support to government programs assured that government is committed to giving the state capital a befitting look.
The Governor lauded the development the state capital has witnessed under the traditional rulers reign,commended him for the peaceful role he has played in bringing peace among the various segment of society living in his domain.
The Governor disclosed that with the recent signing of an agreement with the United Nations Habit,the state capital will begin to wear a new look.
Reacting,the Maigari of Lokoja,Alh Kabir Mohammed said the decision to pay him a sallah homage was first of its kind and a worth innovative of the present administration.
Alh Kabir Mohammed,praised the present administration in the state for the regards placed on the traditional institution,assured of the loyalty of his subjects to the present administration
