Kogi Gov send powerful delegate to Edo state over the death of Professor Festus Iyayi

The Kogi state government has send powerful delegate to Benin in Edo state over the death of a renown Professor of the University of Benin, Professor Festus Iyayi.
The delegate which was made up of the Kogi state Commissioner of Information, Mr. Bologi Yabagi, Secretary to Kogi State Government, Professor Olugbenro Jegede and some cabinet members are expected to meet Edo state government before meeting the family of the late Professor Festus Iyayi.
It would be recalled that the late Professor died along Abuja-Lokoja road on Tuesday while traveling to Kano for ASSU's meeting when the back up vehicle of the Kogi state Governor which was left behind collided with the bus that the Professor was traveling with.
The Police back up pilot vehicle was left behind at Gwagwalada when it developed fault and as at the  time the accident occurred the Pilot vehicle was never in the convoy of the Governor.
