At the suspension of my campaign, I thought of a candidate that will further the vision that I strongly believed in, I had it also in mind that an election occurring on Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwes birthday needed a result that will have some sort of respect for the sage.
In the list of 23 gubernatorial candidates, Mr. Tony Nwoye appeared the most preferred candidate, even thou litigation consumed a substantial irreplaceabletime from his campaign, of which to my mind raised a concern and puts a question mark on the fairness of the election, when the Judiciary process pinned down a candidate from campaigning while others are having a field day accumulating voters.
As a Zikist, I am not in doubt, that if the great nationalist is asked today, would you prefer a national party over a sectional or tribal party? His answer will be in the affirmative (YES). That gives a profound attestation that the only national party in the race, being the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would receive the sage endorsement.
I therefore call on all the good people of Anambra State to vote in a very young
man with high exposure, excellent intellect and one of the best brains on the continent, all in the person of Mr. Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the following reasons.
That Anambra State may witness new and ultra modern cities built with the state of the art facilities of which will trigger the home coming of our people from various parts of the country, where they are being slaughtered like sheep without a Sheppard and in turn help build our land instead of developing strangers land.
That Anambra State can fully support President Goodluck Azikiwe Jonathan as a PDP state and not as an opposition party State without eligibilities to attend PDP primaries and events.
That Anambra State can come up on main stream of national affairs, rather than shrouding under one man party penury.
For the reasons stated above, I therefore endorse Mr. Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the November 16th election of Anambra State.
Best regards,
Chief Udo Udeogaranya
Former Gubernatorial Aspirant
