MTN donates 5 Equipped Patrol Toyota Hilux Vans to Kogi state Government

 One of the giant communication company in Nigeria MTN has donated 5 equipped Patrol Toyota Hilux Vans to Kogi state government in order to curb crime in the state.
The Zonal Cordinator of the North Central Zone of the MTN, Mr. Michael E while donating the Hilux Vans said their visit to the state was a memorable one as it has to do with the effort in fighting criminal activities in the state.
According to him, security presently is a thing of serious concern and that is why they want to support the state as they decided to donate the vehicles and also to be in partnership with the state government in order to ensure crime free society.
He said this assistance was coming at the prime time that they face the challenges of insecurity in the country adding that the effort will also cement the state government's relationship with MTN as he called for government continue support to the company in the state.
In his respond, the state Governor, Captain Idris Wada thanked other for the donation noting that the state appreciate their support during the flooding which they donated relief materials for flooding victims in the state.
The Governor added that the vehicles will address the menace of bandits in the state saying that this demonstrates their believes that government alone cannot handle the challenges of insecurity in the land.
