NORTH CENTRAL YOUTH GROUP DISSOCIATE SELF FROM JONATHAN'S ENDORSEMENT FOR 2015


A group the North Central Youth Vanguard(NCYV) has dissociated  itself from earlier claims by some groups, the Middle Belt Youth  Forum and Middle Belt Elders that the zone has endorsed the incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for another four years in 2015. 

In a statement signed by the national leader of NCYV, Mallam Idris M.Idris and copy of which was made available to journalists in Lokoja,the Kogi State Capital, described such as false, deceitful, mischievous and misleading.

The group therefore called on the entire citizens of North Central zone and Nigerians to disregard the publications the self appointed Minister of d confusion and dis- unity.     
The statement further stated that the North Central Zone is the main pillar of the so called Middle Belt,stressing that there was never  a time the good people, peAce loving, democrat per excellence of the zone met and resolved to endorse any candidate.  
"Middle Belt or North Central Zone is an integral part of one indivisible Northern Nigeria and he focus of the North today is to undertake initiatives of promotion of socio-economic and political growth and development of the region,m with emphasis on people oriented goals of the region bearing in mind the equity with regard to the  interest and aspiration  of all  the federating zones,states, local government areas",the group stressed.

They also called on the people of the three northern geopolitical zones, North West North Central and North East to always speak in one voice in the process of integrating the region in the mainstream of nigeria critical decision making structures as was started by the founding fathers.

The group therefore called on all and sundry to support a President of Northern extraction in 2015
