Agriculture---South-South Co- operation storm Kogi

Team if Agriculture expert from 13 African countries which also includes Brazil, China and Vietnam known as South-South Co-operation have arrived Kogi state to formerly asses agricultural potential in the state.
Kogi state is one of the states in the country that is chosen for the project.
Receiving the team over the weekend, the state Governor, Captain Idris Wada said agriculture agenda of the Federal Government is a way forward for the country.
Captain Wada noted that his administration is determined to make agriculture the focus of his transformation stressing that agriculture will ve a vehicle for transformation of the state.
He mentioned that self reliance in agriculture by the youths will ensure peace and unity in the state as he commended the South-South Co-operation for chosen Kogi state.
Earlier, the representative of the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Professor B.O Chudi said the Minister himself would have love to come but due to so e national issue he was out of the country.
He stressed that they appreciate the effort of the Kogi state Governor in the area of agriculture adding that Kogi state was chosen because of the effort of the state Governor, Captain Idris Wada for making agriculture a priority.
