NO MARKET FOR KIDNAPPERS IN EBIRALAND

Coalition of youth clubs and associations in Kogi central senatorial district, Ebira Youth Congress(EYC)  has called on well meaning indigene of the area to stand firm and fight vehemently against cases of kidnapping and killings in the land.
In a statement signed by  Comrade Sheik Mamman Adai and Baba Abdulrazak, President General and the Secretary General respectively which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja , the group said the recent kidnap of the wife and two years old daughter of Hon Salihu Adaviriku , the Chairman of Adavi Local Government council forth night ago and the strange killing in the land must be fought to a stand still by all eminent persons  in Ebira land.

According to the statement, the acts of kidnapping and related crimes are strange and alien, saying such heinous crimes can not find place in the present day Ebira land.

The group therefore,  called on the people in the district to rise in unison against the evil by being vigilant and assisting security operatives with useful informations to enable the law agents  fish out the perpetrators of the nefarious  acts    

" The people in the face of love for one another , are in better position to ward off crime , in turn for a safer society, the security agents are not magicians , they need the support and the co-operation of the people for them to operate effectively" the statement said.

Comrade Mamman further called on political leaders in the area to be proactive in their day to day activities to sustain the peace, safety and orderliness being enjoyed  in the central senatorial district.

The Youth Congress  who demanded for immediate and unconditional release of the kidnapped persons,  sympathized with Hon Adaviruku and the family members of the recent strange killing victim, assuring that the security agents in the area will definitely unravel the hideout of the culprits.
