N252 MILLION NAIRA FOR KOGI STATE UNIVERSITY

The Kogi state Government has spent the sum of N252 Million naira for the construction of additional two hostels for the male and female students at Kogi state University, Anyigba.

The Vice- Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Hassan Isah who disclosed this to newsmen said work on the projects is nearing completion adding that Captain Idris Wada's administration has also released the sum of N120 Million for the a recitation of six academic programmes which includes Faculties of Management Sciences, Agriculture, Arts and Humanities. 

Others are Law, Natural Sciences as well as Social Sciences. Similarly Captain Idris Wada has also released the sum of N120 Million naira for the completion and equipping of the Medical Laboratory of the institution for the take off of the Faculty of Medicine.

The VC noted that Captain Wada has given approval for the upgrading of the Reference and Diagnostic Hospital for Kogi state University Anyigba as he thanked the state government for fulfilling its pledges, and promised the support of the management for the administration of CaptainIdris Wada.
