Captain Idris Wada the Kogi state Governor gave the directive in a meeting with members of the management , Governing Council, Academic and non academic unions of the institution which took place at Government House Lokoja.
Captain Wada said the meeting was called at his instance yo address the numerous demands of the workers of the institution with a view to resolving them to ensure productivity and quality of education in the College.
The Governor also promised to look into the indiscriminate taxation of the workers and the implementation of their annual salary incremental steps as he commended the move to up grade the institution to a degree awarding institution which he described as very desirable, assuring them of government support to achieve the goal.
The governor then urged the staff to always remain calm, peaceful and matured in pressing home their demands to enable the institution to grow.
In their remarks, the Provost of the institution, Dr. Isah Ochepa who spoke on behalf of the institution appreciated the Governor's understanding to meet some their demands as he pledged the loyalty of the institution to the government.
