Kogi Gov to drill 500 motorize boreholes in 21 LGA

The Kogi state Governor, Captain Idris Wada has embark on the construction of 500 motorize boreholes across 21 local government areas of the state just he warned that his government will not spear anybody in his cabinet that is into shade business.

Speaking at Nagazi in Adavi Local government area of Kogi state over the weekend during the Flag-off drilling of boreholes in the area posited that their is no sacred Cow warning that "as grass rural man from Odu-Ogboyaga I believe that rural areas need water".

He noted that most communities suffered because of insufficient of portable drinking water adding that his administration will embark on projects that are critical in the lives of the people of the state.

According to him, the flagging- off of the water project was aimed at solving the issue of shortage of water in the area adding that it will go a long way ones the motorize boreholes are completed.

He mentioned that the laudable project is first in the history of the state saying that government is very resolute to do more to the people.

According to Captain Wada government have obtained Bond from the Bank to prosecute various projects in the state as he assured that the money obtained from the bank will be used judiciously.
