Be supportive of Wada's transformation agenda

The chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, (ALGON),  Kogi chapter, Aloysius Okino, has called on the people of the state to be supportive of the Captain Idris Wada transformation drive.

The chairman who was speaking yesterday, during the town hall meeting to mark the two years in office of the governor, noted that the positive steps taken so far by Wada stands him out as someone who has a clear vision and mission for the state.


According to him the success recorded by the governor in the areas of youths and women development as well as his giant stride in agriculture was unequalled, saying that it has become a model to other states in Nigeria.

He commended the governor for the peace and stability his administration has recorded, saying that the chairmen will continue to support his developmental agenda in the months ahead.

While maintaining that the 21 LGA chairmen has enjoined the cooperation of the  governor in the discharge of their duties, and called for more patient with the administration.

He called on the youths in the state to always engage themselves in productive ventures in order to attract more patronage from the state government.

Accordingly, he called on the people to embrace the agricultural programme of the government as a business and a way of life, noting that this is the surest way to generate massive employment.
