PDP will soon overcome its internal crisis- Kogi ALGON chairman

The chairman of the Kogi state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria,(ALGON) Mr. Aloysius  Okino has expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP), would soon overcome its current leadership crisis and come out stronger.

The chairman who was speaking in Adogo, headquarters of Ajaokuta LGA, at the 65 birthday celebration of his father, Chief Moses Ado Okino, said as the dominant party in the country, it can not shy away from crisis and its resolution.

While also commending the Kogi state governor, Captain Idris Wada, over his role at resolving the crisis, he called on the warring factions to embrace dialogue, saying that he is confident that President Goodluck Jonathan and elders of the party are capable of resolving the crisis.

The ALGON chairman who is also the chairman of Ajaokuta local government area, called on members of the party to rally round the president in his resolve to transform Nigeria.

Okino maintained that the progress made in the last two years in the areas of, Agricultural transformation, rail development, the aviation sector and the attention given to the steel sector the president attested to the fact that the government is on track.
