Women must go beyond asking for 35% participation- Olejeme


Chairman, Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSTIF) Dr. Ngozi Olejeme has attributed the low participation of women in politics to the prevailing social and economic regimes as well as the existing political structures.

These hindrances, she said, must give way for the African woman to realize her full potential and contribute meaningfully to nation building and democratic governance.

Lawmaker advocate stronger tie between Politicians,electorate


The Member representing, Okene-Ogori/Magongo federal constituency of Kogi in the National Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Tijani has advocated stronger tie between the electorates and political office holders to guarantee peace and political stability.

The federal lawmaker who was speaking in Okene, noted that his intention to organize the Legislative week was aimed at giving the people the much desired dividends of democracy

KOGI STATE GOV AWARD CONTRACT AT THE SUM OF N1.4Billion


Kogi State government has awarded  contract for the construction of 500 housing unit at the cost of over 1.4 Billion naira.
           The commissioner for information and home affairs Alhaji Yabagi  Bologi who disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the state executive meeting yesterday said the tender board  has approved the construction of 500 housing unit at the contract sum of over 1.4 Billion naira to four competent companies.

The Kogi state Governor,Captain Idris Wada gave N1million and a plot of Land each to the  two Kogi born Golden Eaglets that brought fame to the country in the last Under 17 FIFA World Cup Soccer which took place in United Arab Emirate.
